I wish it would be Bird vs Sand.

Why?

Because Sand would win. The Reynolds/Bird administration has given Sand more than enough ammo.

I hope Sand treats us to an updated version of his past

successful TV ads featuring his wife saying, “R-o-b!”

I am not deceived in believing that even after everything that Iowa has experienced in the last 10 years - both locally and on a national level - that a Democrat can win in this divisive environment. I am also disheartened to think that a "common sense" Republican in the mold of Bob Ray would even have a chance either. These are indeed perilous times.

Reynolds has been very ambitious. The realities of her administration will be in full bloom soon as cities/towns are strapped for operational cash. Her influence has kept ICE away from Iowa packing plants. Time is up and she knows it.

Cancer is a terrible disease that I don’t wish on anyone. On the other hand, these willful minions of Trump’s delusions are actively helping him destroy everything good about the USA. There’s a word for that; also starts with a t

Can this state withstand a term of Bird? While Reynolds has laid the groundwork for a Bird state will decimate the state. I hope I’m gone from here so I don’t have to watch.

Back about 15 years ago, Brenna Bird, then known as Brenna Finney, ran against Tom Miller for Attorney General in an attempt that was doomed to fail at the time. I knew that it was a test run and suggested to many that we hadn't heard the last of her. I have no doubt that she will use the Governor's Office as a stepping stone to satisfy her obvious national aspirations.

Randy Feenstra is an egotistical, arrogant, narcissistic fanatic who envisions himself as a chosen leader, and acolyte of Trumpworld’s Project 2025. Nothing will deter his quest to rule Iowa as his own fiefdom. He will persuade the Family Leader and Farm Bureau to support him over Bird. Simultaneously, he has already pledged his allegiance and fealty to Trump as dictator. Don’t watch who’s talking, listen to what they say.

Sorry- no republican can be believed - ever. She is abandoning her constituents - oh because it’s going to be just too hard to make things right. What a chickenshit putz she is. Feel bad for those grand children who have a frightened loser for a grandmother.

Her evil work is done, Iowa is now second rate and radicalized. She was going down and couldn’t stick it out. She sure doesn’t value anyone’s family but her own. Shame on her, shame.
